Early Life & Education
On February 15, 1995, in Ibadan, Oyo State, young Jonn was born into a respectable and devout Christian family, Mr. and Mrs. Udomboso. Young Jonn hails from the southern Nigerian state of Akwa Ibom. After receiving his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) from Ideal Foundation Primary School in Ibadan, Young Jonn continued his education at GOF College in Osogbo, Osun State. He continued his schooling by attending the University of Ibadan to study language arts and communication. Young Jonn was incredibly interested in basketball, football, mining, dancing, and playing musical instruments when he was a high school student.
Career
Before being signed by Hit Factory Studio in 2012, young Jonn, also known as “The Wicked Producer,” founded a band called “AVG” with his brother. Jonn has always loved and appreciated playing musical instruments. He was the creative force behind Olamide Baddo’s “Story for the Gods” production while he was a producer at Hit Factory Studio. Young Jonn was nominated for a 2015 Headies Award for “Producer of the Year” for his work on Olamide’s song “Bobo.” Songs like “Efejoku” and “Gbese” by Lil Kesh, “Biggest Backside” by Afrobeat Sensation, Davido, and many more have been credited to the gifted producer.
Young Jonn, who joined Chocolate City in March 2022, has emerged as the company’s top song producer. Many of his fans responded well to his debut single, Love Is Not Enough, which was released in April 2022.
