O’Level product requirements to apply to University of Ibadan
To apply to the University of Ibadan (UI), applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must have at least five credits in relevant subjects, including English and mathematics.
- Qualifications must be obtained from an accredited examination authority such as WAEC, NECO or equivalent.
- The five required units cannot be obtained in two sittings.
Completing these O’Level requirements will qualify you to apply to graduate programs at UI.

University of Ibadan Departmental Cut-Off Mark
UI department cut off mark is different from JAMB cut off mark. The final score determines the candidate’s acceptance.

University of Ibadan’sMaster Degree Admission Requirements
To apply for the master’s program, the following criteria must be met:
- First Degree: You must have a bachelor’s degree from the UI or another accredited university in a relevant field.
- Additional courses: If your degree is not closely related to the program, you may need to take additional courses.
- CGPA: Most programs require a minimum CGPA of 4.0 (B average) from your studies.
- English Proficiency: If your undergraduate degree is not taught in English, you must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL or IELTS.
